Book Report: Death Comes to Pemberley

Death Come to Pemberley
by P.D. James

If you are a Jane Austen aficionado and love yourself some Lizzy and Mr. Darcy AND aren't a purist, then this is probably a good fit for you.
Totally indulgent, this book combines all your favorite characters with a murder mystery, and of course, the main suspect?  Our favorite lovable and thoroughly without moral character: Wickham.
Five years past Pride & Prejudice, Wickham is thrust back into the Darcy's life with the death of a friend.  Without profession or pride, it would seem (and did we ever think things would turn out otherwise??) and married to Lydia who is as hysterical and unreasonable as ever.

Perfect for an frivolous weekend or vacation read.

There is also, apparently a new BBC series...AND WHO DOESN'T WANT THAT??

Here's a trailer to wet your appetite.
